LAB-GROWN DIAMONDS I SWISS MADE
Made in the heart of Switzerland
Ammil stands as a Swiss producer of sustainable lab-grown diamonds. Our diamonds are crafted using local, renewable energy, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Redefineing the Diamond Industry
Ammil is committed to eliminating opacity in the diamond industry and setting a new ethical standard. We ensure full transparency in our supply chain and focus on ethical and sustainable production practices, providing a clear, responsible, and traceable alternative to traditionally mined diamonds.
Authentic Sustainability
At Ammil, we reject greenwashing. Instead of relying on carbon credits, we built our production facility in a location with a surplus of renewable energy. This ensures that no additional energy production is required for our manufacturing needs, making our process genuinely sustainable and self-sufficient.

Why Muotathal, Switzerland?
Our diamond production facility is located in Muotathal, in the canton of Schwyz.
100% renewable energy: Powered by solar energy during the day and hydroelectric power from the local Muota River.
Swiss-sourced raw materials: We capture carbon from Swiss air to obtain methane and hydrogen, ensuring a circular and responsible production cycle.
Our Process
Ammil provides an environmentally friendly alternative, ensuring a premium and sustainable choice for the discerning consumer.
Step 1
Growth – Cultivating a Diamond from a Seed
Our process begins with a diamond seed, a microscopic sliver of pure carbon that serves as the foundation for each diamond. Using advanced Chemical Vapour Deposition (CVD) technology, the seed is placed in a highly controlled growth chamber. Inside, the chamber is filled with a carbon-rich plasma, where carbon atoms bond to the seed layer by layer, replicating the natural diamond-growing process.
Over several weeks, the diamond grows into what is colloquially known as a 'diamond cake'—a raw, uncut diamond block ready for transformation.

Step 2
Cutting and Polishing – Where Science Meets Craftsmanship
Once the diamond cake reaches the required size, it undergoes a meticulous cutting and polishing process:
Each diamond is assigned to an individual artisan—not mass-produced on a production line.
Our cutting and polishing experts utilise precision lasers and polishing tables to carefully shape rough material into exquisite, precision-cut diamonds.
We take pride in fostering inclusivity in our workforce, employing and training female artisans in an industry where they are underrepresented.
Our polishers earn fair wages, multiples higher than industry norms, ensuring they can support their families and take pride in their craft.
Senior polishers have the opportunity to become master polishers, fostering career growth and social mobility within our workforce.

Step 3
